Independence Day Celebrations at ILA

On 15th of August 2024 Thursday, our school came alive with the colors of patriotism as students and staff gathered to celebrate Independence Day. The day began on the school grounds which was decorated with flowers and the flag pole reflecting the spirit of freedom.

The highlight of the event was flag-hoisting ceremony. The President of our school, Sri . K Vasudeva and our director Mr. Ranjith hoisted the national flag as everyone stood in respectful silence, their eyes fixed on the tricolor fluttering against the blue sky. The students then sang the National Anthem with pride, their voices echoing with unity and hope. It was a moment that filled every heart with a sense of belonging and pride.

Following the anthem, students from various classes presented patriotic songs that resonated with the audience. The melodies, filled with love for the country, reminded everyone of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the importance of staying united.

The ceremony concluded with a general salute to the national flag. The students stood tall, their hands raised in a salute, as they pledged their commitment to upholding the values of freedom and democracy. The sense of unity and patriotism in the air was palpable, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of responsibility towards their country.

As rightly spoken to students by our school director Mr. Ranjith, this year’s Independence Day celebration was not just a reminder of the freedom we enjoy, but also a call to contribute positively to the nation building. 
And thus… ILA builds budding citizens to keep the tricolour high!
